Turbo
Supercharge your reaming in sand.
Whether you are reaming sand, gravel, cobbles or pumice, the Turbo reamer is the perfect combination to a great fluid system to cut, mix, pack and clean your hole efficiently.

Juggernaut
Best for rock. Good for shale & sandstone.
Strategically positioned and welded cutters with extra thick carbide teeth for maximum cutting action.
Deep, spiralled flutes allow plenty of slurry to flow past the reamer.
Available with built-in swivel.
Ogre
Best for rock. Good for shale & sandstone.
With more cutters than any reamers in its class, each cutter only takes 1⁄2” more soil than the previous stage resulting in a smooth, efficient cutting action.
Slow taper and deep spiralled fluting combine for maximum mixing and pumping.
Angled fluid jets shoot water opposite the reamer rotation to keep carbides and flute clear.
Tornado
Aggressive cutting and mixing.
Perfect for the most challenging reactive clays as well as shale and sandstone.
The Tornado’s wings are set to cut the perfect size to be able to suspend in a good fluid and carry out of the hole.
Hedgehog
The Hedgehog is ideal in soft ground, or where you need to cut straight to size in a large diameter hole. The curved packer blades cut and mix effectively, and can be ordered with carbide cutters on the back surface - making it easier to push out of the hole.
The Hedgehog is also an effective front reamer for unusual shots where forward reaming is required.
Barrel Stabilizer
A barrel stabilizer centres the reamer in the hole to create a round hole in all soil conditions. Repetitive reaming passes to upsize the hole or clean it can “egg” out the bottom of the hole interfering with your grade and alignment.
Melfred Borzall® barrel stabilizers are an integral component managing the grade in these situations and can be customized to suit all ground conditions.
