Our products are well-made, easy to use and they read accurately to the millimetre. The reels come with a carrying handle, and the probe sits securely in a frame mount.

The probe has a gap between the electrodes. When contact is made with water, the circuit is completed, activating the buzzer and the light. The water level is determined by taking a reading from the measuring tape at the top of the well-casing or borehole.
Settings
The unit comes with three settings; Off, Test and Operation.
Off is the setting to leave on normally.
Test (I) is to confirm the unit is operating correctly and receiving power from the 9V battery. No water is required for the test. If operating correctly, you will see the voltage meter move to the red zone. The light and buzzer do not operate during the test.
Operation (II) is the normal operating mode to use when determining the water level.
